Organizing your vault

Folders group items by team or system — for example, Infrastructure or Vendors — and are the primary way most organizations browse their vault. An item can live in one folder at a time.

Tags are better suited to attributes that cut across folders, like critical or ci-cd. Filter by one or more tags from the vault sidebar to narrow a large item list without leaving your current folder view.

Star the items you access most often to pin them to the Favorites view. When cleaning up a vault, use the selection checkboxes to select multiple items and delete or move them in a single action.
